I was sitting at my desk, looking over a few tried and true messages to take
to the Philippine Islands to preach and teach to pastors and Bible school
students.
These were messages and truths that I knew would be a blessing to anyone serious
about serving God. These were messages with which I was comfortable.
And wouldn't you know it? God began to bring into my spirit a whole new series
of messages. But I wasn't looking for new messages. I don't like to go to
seminars, camp meetings, conventions or city-wide crusades with new messages.
And when I am going to be preaching to preachers, I like to feel real secure in
my subjects.
At first I felt like saying, "Lord, don't you see I already have the messages I
need?" But I began to see God was serious about taking me down a whole different
pathway. I felt His presence, His Spirit, His excitement. And then I began to
get excited.
The following lessons on "Partners With God" came from the Lord's mind to my
mind.
I sincerely hope they will be as much a blessing to you as they have been to me,
and those to whom I have been privileged to minister.
